Sankirtan is alive and well in Radha Kalachandji Dhama in Dallas. Srila Giriraj
Swami came through and impressed upon everyone the importance of taking part in
book distribution. He reasoned that all of our activities should be directed
towards that goal, using the example of India Railways where they say that all
of the different jobs everyone does are to work together towards keeping the
wheels of the train rolling.
In an attempt to please Maharajah my wife Sri Rangavati Dasi and I headed out
to some stores to try and sell Srila Prabhupada's books. The first person to

Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
Central Train Station, Sydney, Australia...
We were behind enemy lines in the train station complex, dropping bombs in
the form of Srila Prabhupada's books with haphazard frenzy. Like timed
explosives they were killing the materialistic tendencies of every
conditioned soul who ventured near.
*Sentries deployed, motion sensors fully activated, acquiring target...

likes Buddha. Too easy... They both get a book, now their sense grat is
Cronulla Beach, Sydney, Australia.
Bhakta Josh from Brisbane and I were having a great day distributing
Prabhupada's books at the beach.
We took a short lunch brake and went for a swim to freshen up.
On the way back to our books I saw a man with a tattoo on his chin and
spontaneously,
I said "how's it going mate?".
"Good" he said a bit surprised.
I had no books at the time, we were just running past in our swim shorts
but I thought maybe I might see him later up in the mall with our books.
In one shopping mall, shoppers were in the mode of passion, so I had aplan, as
I would see them from a distance, I would look at them and start singing,
"Smile and you'll feel much better, smile and you'll feel the difference," as
they get to me,they have a look of surprise and start smiling as I shake their
hand and continue singing, "You're looking much better, I can tell, I can
tell."
I introduce myself to them and tell them that I am a traveling monk, but also a
happiness monk, that I am traveling all over spreading happiness everywhere I
Dear Prabhus,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Today on sankirtana I had a couple of nice encounters. Today I had to pick
up my spiritual master from the airport and do a few other things, so I was
only able to distribute books for less than three hours. I was begging
Krishna that I could do a full day's worth in just a couple of hours. By the
mercy of my spiritual master, just about everyone I met was eager for a
book. One of the first people I met was a nice young man from New Zealand.
Ramesvara, head of the American division of the Book Trust, reported a
recent new record in book distribution. In a one-day competition, Los
Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta temples distributed 5,406 hardbound books,
with some individual devotees selling over two hundred each. Ramesvara's
report was dramatic. "Our men are willing to do anything to please you, and
all of them have dedicated their whole lives to distributing these books.
Our only desire is that you may kindly bless us with greater and greater
desire to distribute these books all over the world until every home has
26/11 will always bring memories of the horrifying attack on Mumbai. On the
anniversary of the attack many peace programs were organized at the
various areas where the attacks took place.
Early that morning the phone rang in the reception of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath
Mandir in Chowpatty.
"Is any devotee coming to Nariman point?" a lady asked. "There are many
groups here offering prayers and kirtans."
Soon a bunch of devotees reached there only to find that the program was
over and the VIPs had left after lighting the customary lamps. Still some
In Surat-India. we started the marathon on the 15th of November. Our individual
target was 11,131 BG (Temple target is little more). We are about to achieve
this target. We are all grhastha devotees. Every Sunday & holidays we do BD for
the whole day. Generally the devotees distribute books without feeling fatigue.
They take lunch prasadam after 3 or 4 PM because they don't want to intrupt
this wonderful service.
We divided our team in five groups. Each group has a group leader and goes to
different places with transcendental bombs to attack maya with full strength.
